
Voted "Top Lawyer" in 2019 and 2021 by Delaware Today Magazine, Joseph Andrews graduated cum laude from King’s College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania with a major in political science and a focus on accounting. After college, he taught Latin, Algebra and American History to at-risk underprivileged youth in inner city Wilmington, Delaware through AmeriCorps at Nativity School while putting himself through Widener’s Delaware Law School night program. Upon receiving his J.D., he was admitted to the bars of Maryland, Delaware and the U.S. District Court for Delaware, served as chief law clerk for the Chief Judge of Delaware’s Family Court and entered private practice handling construction law, contracts, corporate law and workers' compensation defense before founding The Law Office of Joseph Andrews.
Mr. Andrews’ practice focuses primarily on workers' compensation and insurance defense in Delaware and Maryland, insurance fraud, Federal and State trademarks and debt collection. He has testified many times before the Senate of Delaware regarding proposed amendments to the workers' compensation law and is authorized by Delaware’s Insurance Commissioner to provide continuing education courses to insurance adjusters on the compensation law through seminars he gives both at our office and throughout the East Coast.
